April 25 - Mom's Birthday

Well she has been dead almost 10 years. I cannot remember her last birthday. I cannot remember what present we gave her. In two weeks it will be Chris' 20th birthday. His tenth birthday is the last happy memory I have of my mother before we found out that she was going to die. I had some nice fireworks - she watched them from inside because she was not feeling well.
When the boys were younger we visited the grave on her birthday. But this year my car is getting the transmission rebuilt for the second time in two weeks so I am not able. I might visit the grave by myself Sunday.

Hale Bopp the great comet of 1997 was around from May to September.
